    About the Role:

    Join Amazing Athletes of San Diego as a Preschool Athletics Coach and inspire young children to develop their athletic skills in a fun and engaging environment. This role is perfect for energetic individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and sports.

    Responsibilities:

    Plan and deliver age-appropriate athletic curricular activities for preschool children.

    Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.

    Assess and track individual progress in physical skills and confidence.

    Engage with parents to provide periodic updates on their child's development.

    Maintain a safe and organized play area for all activities.

    Collaborate with other coaches to enhance program offerings and events.

    Promote the importance of physical fitness and healthy habits among preschoolers.

    Attend training sessions and team meetings to improve coaching techniques.

    Requirements:

    Experience working with preschool-aged children in a coaching or educational setting.

    Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young learners.

    CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

    Updated basic vaccinations.

    Pass Live Scan background check.

    Passion for sports and physical education with a focus on fun and safety.

    Ability to work flexible hours.

    Strong organizational and time management skills.

    Positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor.

    Background in child development or related field is a plus.

    Early Childhood Education Units a HUGE plus.
