Position Summary: The Preschool Care & Nutrition Aide supports the daily operation of the preschool by assisting in both classroom care and meal preparation. This role helps ensure children receive safe supervision, nutritious meals, and a clean, organized environment while supporting teachers and staff as needed.

Classroom & Childcare Support

Step into classrooms to support ratios, breaks, and transitions

Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs

Model positive behavior and use appropriate guidance strategies

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment

Nutrition & Kitchen Support

Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks according to center menus

Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergy guidelines

Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, dishes, and food preparation surfaces

Support proper food storage and labeling
