Location: Building Kidz Preschool Position: Preschool Chef (with Assistant Support) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

At Building Kids, we believe that nourishing children goes beyond the classroom—healthy, delicious meals are a huge part of how we care for our little learners. We are looking for a passionate, reliable, and health-conscious Preschool Chef to join our team!

🍎 What You’ll Do:

Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for a large preschool

Work alongside a kitchen assistant to keep daily operations running smoothly

Plan balanced menus aligned with our school values (no beef or pork)

Manage food ordering, inventory, and budgeting

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen

Follow all health department and licensing guidelines

Fun, positive, and enjoys being around children

Experienced in cooking for large groups

Health-conscious with a passion for quality ingredients

Organized and confident in menu planning and staying within budget

A team player who communicates well with leadership and staff

Reliable, calm, and able to handle a fast-paced environment

✅ Requirements:

Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting (preferred)

ServSafe Certification (required or willing to obtain quickly)

Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices

Ability to lift, stand, and move throughout the day
