Core Responsibilities:
Nurture a child's first five years by preparing nutritious and delicious snacks and lunch daily
Maintain a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions at all times
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Prepare and follow weekly menus prepared in collaboration with the Director
Deliver snacks and meals to 14 classrooms - be prepared to be greeted enthusiastically by the students!
Assist with ordering food, including calculating amounts needed and inventory
Qualifications
Meets all state and town requirements for school food service professional
Meticulous attention to detail, with particular attention to allergies
Organized, with ability to plan ahead
Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management
Strong skills in inventory management and control
Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety
Salary Range: Starting at $21 per hour, based on experience
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM, occasional evening staff meeting (subject to change)
