Promote Healthy Habits: Prepare delicious, balanced meals that encourage students to develop a lifelong love for healthy eating.
Safety First: Maintain a vigilant awareness of student allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure a safe environment.
Menu Execution: Follow daily menus developed in collaboration with school leadership.
Kitchen Logistics: Assist with food ordering, inventory calculations, and portion control to ensure efficiency and minimize waste.
Qualifications
Relevant Experience: Proven background in food preparation and kitchen management. Experience in a school setting is preferred, though expertise from restaurants, hotels, or catering is highly valued.
Operational Skills: Strong proficiency in inventory management, food ordering, and cost control.
Leadership & Independence: Ability to manage food service and catering operations autonomously.
Work Ethic: A proactive "self-starter" who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
