Role Summary
We’re hiring a high-ownership Curriculum Specialist who loves early childhood learning and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
This is a hands-on curriculum role. You will:
prep materials (print, cut, laminate, label, box, stage),
coach teachers with confidence and respect,
and lead weekly training so classrooms are prepared and consistent.
This is not a desk-only planning role. You will build what teachers use—and help them use it well.
Primary Objective (99% focus)
Ensure every classroom is fully prepared with staged curriculum materials and supported through weekly coaching/training so learning is consistent, joyful, and effective.
What You’ll Own
Print, cut, laminate, label, organize, and stage weekly/monthly curriculum materials
Create classroom-ready “kits” (bins/boxes/folders) by room and week
Maintain a clean storage/filing system so materials are easy to find and reuse
Track what’s missing, what’s running low, and what needs reprint/refresh
Coach teachers on how to implement the materials effectively (modeling, tips, pacing, engagement)
Provide supportive feedback that elevates quality—without attitude or judgement
Help teachers simplify and execute (less overwhelm, more consistency)
Host a short weekly training session to prepare teachers for the upcoming week
Coordinate what’s needed per classroom and confirm readiness (no last-minute scrambling)
Create simple checklists and “definition of done” for prep and rollout
Assist the Director in true classroom emergencies or urgent needs (But the role is 99% curriculum-focused.)
Who We’re Looking For ✅ (Non-Negotiables)
High ownership: you take pride in finishing what you start
Hands-on work ethic: you’re comfortable doing real prep work (print/cut/laminate/stage)
Confident communicator: you can coach adults respectfully and clearly
Humble leadership: you elevate teachers without talking down to them
Joyful spirit: you bring positive energy and help others feel capable
Organized and reliable: you run on checklists, timelines, and follow-through
Ideal Background
Degree in Early Childhood Education (or actively working toward one)
Experience in preschool curriculum, classroom teaching, or instructional support/coaching
What Success Looks Like 🌟
Materials are staged ahead of time—teachers feel supported, not stressed
Classrooms implement curriculum consistently and confidently
Weekly trainings are practical, short, and effective
Teachers feel elevated (not criticized)
The building feels more joyful and prepared
