Preschool Director
Grace Christian School, a private PK-8 Christian School, is looking for a Preschool Director for the 2026-2027 school year. Located on the east side of Columbus in Blacklick, OH, Grace Christian School is committed to providing an academically rigorous and solid Christian education to our diverse student body. At Grace, the integration of Biblical teaching in all areas and in all classes ensure that our students learn to see God in all facets of life. In our Christ-centered curriculum, God's word is the standard of truth and authority by which all subjects are taught.

Job Description
Maintains the spiritual and educational development of students by nurturing and equipping a safe and healthy environment conducive to learning. Fosters community by communicating and building relationships with parents regarding the spiritual and educational development of their children.
Essential Job Results
Identifies current and future educational needs by planning, organizing, directing, managing, and supervising programs for preschool-age children.
Contributes to the school’s effectiveness monitoring overall preschool staff and quality performance of each member, recruitment and training new employees recommended by Head of School, maintaining accurate and complete student records as required by district policies.
Represents the school by overseeing the daily operations and administration of the preschool, pro-actively and re-actively connecting with families regarding faith, church connections, educational needs and resources, along with promoting an atmosphere of community that is caring and nurturing.
Helps identify necessary maintenance regarding buildings, grounds, equipment, and supplies by communicating issues to office administration and following all procedural protocols between the church and school.
Supports the spiritual and educational plan through connections with students and parents, implementing disciplinary action when necessary, administering assessments to determine each child’s developmental levels, needs, and potential.
Protects teachers and students by fostering positive relations, supervising children in the absence of teachers, assisting teacher in communicating with parents when discussing progression of a student.
Resolves teacher/parent/student conflicts Any staff/teacher conflicts/discussions will only take place with head of school; refer any such issues to head of school.
Maintains professional knowledge by staying up to date and complying with all ODE regulations, rules and procedures, monitoring all training hours for each preschool staff member, attend professional meetings and educational conferences in order to maintain and improve social competence.
Contributes to team effort by monitoring and overseeing daily preschool activities, stimulating each child’s interest in God’s word.
Provides spiritual growth by being a Christian role model in the school and community, and by coaching, counseling, and teaching all elements of the GCS Statement of Faith and encouraging the students and staff in applying those doctrines to everyday living.

• Bachelor’s Degree and Administration Licensure/Certification from the Ohio Department of Education
