We are excited to announce the opportunity for an inspiring and dedicated Educational Director to lead our new early learning child care center in Reno, NV. Role Overview:

As the director of our new facility, you will play a key role in shaping an inspiring environment where both children and teachers thrive. Your role will focus on program development, staff management, enriching child interactions, and fostering parental partnerships. Your leadership will be crucial in implementing a curriculum that not only meets educational standards but also ignites curiosity and respects the voices of our children.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Supervision: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, enriching, and respectful environment for children and staff.

Curriculum Development: Implement and enhance educational programs based on the Reggio Emilia approach, adapting to individual teacher strengths and the interests of the children.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain compliance with state regulations concerning child care while striving for excellence in service and care.

Family Engagement: Promote family involvement through regular communication, events, and updates on child progress.

Professional Development: Provide ongoing professional learning opportunities for staff, particularly in the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy.

Administration: Manage the center’s resources, and records efficiently and transparently.

Required Qualifications:

Certification: Required - Meet the requirements for Director's in the State of Nevada.

Experience: Preferred -At least two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in an early learning environment.

Reggio Emilia Approach: Preferred - Demonstrated understanding of, or strong interest in, the Reggio Emilia philosophy. If no experience, we will teach you!

Communication: Required - Exceptional skills in both written and oral communication.

Flexibility and Creativity: Required - Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of children and staff with imaginative solutions.
