At Precious Cargo Preschool & Childcare, we're looking for a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to create meaningful learning experiences, build strong relationships with families, and help children develop the skills they need to thrive.

What You'll Do
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum.
Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom that supports every child's unique needs.
Conduct observations and assessments using Teaching Strategies GOLD (TSGold).
Maintain accurate documentation, portfolios, and developmental records.
Foster positive behavior and social-emotional growth through relationship-based teaching.
Partner with families through ongoing communication, conferences, and classroom activities.
Collaborate with coaches, specialists, and team members to support student success.
Ensure compliance with Preschool Promise, licensing regulations, and program requirements.
Participate in professional development, coaching, and continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Oregon Registry Step 8 or higher.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Food Handler's Card.
Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
Preferred:
Experience with Creative Curriculum and TSGold.
Two or more years of experience in an early childhood setting.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
