    Position Overview

    We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, and committed to fostering an engaging learning environment for children ages 3–5.

    Responsibilities

    Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans using Creative Curriculum and Reggio Emilia-inspired practices.

    Create a classroom culture that values exploration, creativity, and collaboration.

    Observe and document children’s progress, interests, and developmental milestones.

    Collaborate with co-teachers to plan and lead small-group and large-group activities.

    Maintain compliance with Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies.

    Build strong relationships with families through regular communication and parent conferences.

    Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

    Qualifications

    Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).

    Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or school setting.

    Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and/or Reggio Emilia philosophy strongly preferred.

    CDA (Child Development Associate) certification a plus.

    CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

    Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
