The Goddard School is seeking an experienced, passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is ideal for educators who want a supportive environment, consistent schedule, and opportunities for professional growth.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate curriculum
Lead classroom management and maintain a safe, nurturing environment
Guide and mentor assistant teachers to ensure consistent classroom quality
Observe and document children’s developmental progress
Communicate daily with families about activities, milestones, and learning goals
Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety standards
Qualifications
Preferred:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
1–2 years of lead or co-lead classroom experience
Required:
90-hour preschool certification or CDA
Strong knowledge of child development and best practices
Effective communication and leadership skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and support child safety requirements
Background check eligibility
Basic Health & Safety and ADA training
CPR/First Aid preferred
