Preschool Lead Teacher - Early Childhood Education Location: The Learning Experience - Meridian, ID Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and credentials Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Meridian is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to lead a classroom of children ages 3-4.

We're looking for an educator who can create an engaging classroom where children build confidence, independence, friendships, and important early academic skills through purposeful play and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom

Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum

Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development

Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships

Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance

Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation

Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families

Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment

Follow Idaho childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Previous professional preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood experience strongly preferred

Experience working with children ages 3-4 preferred

Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred

CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements
