The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool has been serving Clarksville families for over 20 years, and we're looking for an exceptional Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year.

We're looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, creative, and passionate about preparing young children for kindergarten through meaningful play, hands-on learning, and positive relationships.
What You'll Do
Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards (TN-ELDS)
Foster children's social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
Prepare children for kindergarten through intentional learning experiences
Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication
Observe and document children's progress
Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets Tennessee licensing standards
Work collaboratively with your teaching team and center leadership
Model professionalism, kindness, and positivity each day
We're Looking For Someone Who
Loves working with preschool-aged children
Has experience in early childhood education (preferred)
Is dependable and punctual
Has excellent classroom management skills
Is patient, nurturing, and positive
Communicates professionally with families and coworkers
Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
Is committed to creating a safe, engaging learning environment
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
CDA, TECTA, Early Childhood degree, or related education preferred
Previous preschool or Pre-K teaching experience preferred
Ability to meet Tennessee licensing requirements
Pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
