Full-Time | Immediate Openings Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM Salary: $55,000–$68,000 annually (based on experience)

Kidtastic Kids Preschool is seeking a compassionate, creative, and dedicated Preschool Special Education Teacher to support preschool-aged children with special needs in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lessons aligned with IEP goals and NYS Learning Standards

Implement the HighScope Curriculum

Adapt instruction to meet individual student needs

Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development

Create a positive and engaging classroom environment

Monitor student progress and maintain documentation for IEP reporting

Collaborate with families, CPSE teams, therapists, and related service providers

Participate in parent conferences, CPSE meetings, and parent training activities

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field

NYS Special Education Certification (Birth–Grade 2 or Students with Disabilities)

Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs

Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Preferred

Master's Degree

Experience with FBAs and BIPs

Knowledge of best practices in early childhood special education

Creativity, flexibility, and a passion for inclusive education
