Tesoro Preschool is a dual language immersion program. We are looking for a team member interested in working shifts as needed. Ideal candidate would be someone that does not want a full time position and is interested in working when teachers are off.

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic substitute teacher to join our team! You will be assisting where needed when a team member is out for the day.

Responsibilities:

Assist students individually or in small groups

Supervise students and ensure safety at all times

Provide extra assistance to students when needed

Observe students’ performance and record relevant data to assess progress

Follow our curriculum

Qualifications:

12 units in Child Development

Ability to pass a state and federal background check

A year of previous teaching assistant experience

High-energy with a love of working with children

Organized and detail-oriented
