    Location: Sakonnet Early Learning Center – Tiverton, RI Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Up to 40 Hours/Week

    Join our warm, inclusive Pre-K classroom as a Preschool Teacher Assistant and help shape young minds through play-based, child-centered activities. This role is perfect for aspiring educators who love working with children and thrive in collaborative environments.

    What You’ll Do

    Assist in delivering engaging lessons that encourage learning through play, active exploration, and kindergarten readiness.

    Support classroom management and help prepare materials for daily activities.

    Provide individual attention to students and foster social-emotional skills and positive behavior.

    Help monitor and document developmental milestones, sharing updates with families alongside the lead teacher.

    Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.

    Model respectful communication and cooperation.

    What We’re Looking For

    High school diploma or GED (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred).

    Experience working with young children in group settings (childcare, camp, or after-school programs).

    Passion for child development, early learning, and positive behavior support strategies.

    Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced educators.

    Strong communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor.

    Must be 18+ and able to pass all background checks.
