    Job Summary

    We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Early Childhood Educator / Behavioral Technician to provide 1:1 behavioral support to young children with autism and developmental delays. This role is ideal for preschool teachers who enjoy individualized instruction and want to transition into the behavioral health field.

    In this role, you will work closely with a child under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing individualized behavior-intervention and skill-development programs in a structured, supportive environment.

    Responsibilities

    Provide 1:1 behavioral support using individualized treatment plans

    Implement skill-building programs targeting communication, social, play, and self-help skills

    Support positive behavior using evidence-based behavioral strategies

    Collect and document data on child progress and behaviors

    Assist with developing social-emotional regulation and adaptive skills

    Collaborate with BCBAs, clinical supervisors, and caregivers

    Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

    Communicate professionally with parents and interdisciplinary team members

    Qualifications

    Background in Early Childhood Education, Preschool Teaching, Child Development, or related field

    Bachelor’s degree preferred (education, psychology, child development, or related area)

    High school degree accepted

    Experience working with young children (classroom, daycare, or childcare setting)

    Strong understanding of child development principles

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to follow behavior plans and clinical guidance with consistency

    Knowledge of classroom safety, sanitation, and child supervision standards

    Strong problem-solving, patience, and interpersonal skills

    Willingness to complete Behavior Technician / RBT training (paid training provided)
