Location: Little Scholars Academy – Faribault, MN Job Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Salary: $22–$28 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

Our team is passionate about fostering early learning through engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team and support children during this critical stage of development.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Design and maintain a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment

Arrange learning centers to encourage independence, creativity, and hands-on exploration• Create clearly defined areas for small group, large group, dramatic play, art, literacy, and quiet time

Ensure materials are labeled, accessible, and rotated regularly to support curriculum goals

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that meets licensing and health regulations

Implement visual schedules and organized routines to promote smooth transitions

Monitor and maintain classroom supplies and learning materialsPlanning and leading engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities

Supporting children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development

Creating a classroom environment that is nurturing, inclusive, and safe

Collaborating with families and fellow staff members to ensure each child’s success

Observing and documenting developmental milestones

Upholding MN state childcare licensing standards and center policies

Required Qualifications:

Minimum AA Degree in Early Childhood Education (required)

Minimum 1 year of experience working with preschool-aged children

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or obtain in 30 days of employment)

Strong Organizational skills

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A positive, dependable, and caring attitude toward children and team members
