Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! Flowers Daycare Center is currently looking for a compassionate, self-motivated and professional individual with a specific interest in education

Responsibilities

The successful candidate must enjoy working with children as the Lead Teacher and be devoted to building a nurturing and safe environment.

To excel in this position, you must demonstrate the ability to be a team player, as well as in-depth knowledge of classroom activities and teaching.

Assist children with developing social and emotional skills

Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques

Communicate with parents and other school personnel

Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

High School, bachelor’s degree, 6 semester or 90 clock hours or equivalent of approved early childhood coursework

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Problem-solving and mediation skills
