Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be supervising a class of preschool children ages 3-4 yrs old.

You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

Create and follow age-appropriate lessons

Involve children in developing their cognitive development with pre-math, number and counting concepts

Assist children with developing social and emotional skills and learning to manage and regulate their feelings

Set the classroom environment with a schedule, routine, expectations and age-appropriate behavior management

Communicate with parents, co-teachers and support staff

Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and state teaching certification, preferred.

Associate Degree in Child Development, CDA or Accelerated Early childhood Certificate, accepted

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Problem-solving and mediation skills
