About the Role:

Hope for Kids Childcare Center in Duluth, MN is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated team! Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood development goals

Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for preschool-aged children

Monitor and document children's developmental progress and milestones

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and daily activities

Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community

Follow all childcare licensing regulations, health, and safety protocols

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children

Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to pass a background check per Minnesota childcare licensing requirements

Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

Warm, energetic, and child-centered approach to teaching
