Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

Responsibilities

Create and implement a comprehensive curriculum using the CT ELDS

Teach children life long learning and social skills

Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques

Communicate with parents and other school personnel

Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, state teaching certification, and/or equivalent

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Problem-solving and mediation skills
