First Years Preschool – Preschool Teacher (Part-Time)

First Years Preschool is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Preschool Teacher to lead a nurturing, engaging classroom where children grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Hours: 8:30 AM–1:30 PM (10-month school year)

Days: Vary, depending on positions available at time of hiring

Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead age-appropriate, faith-based lessons
• Foster a love of learning and child development
• Create a structured, nurturing classroom
• Communicate with parents
• Maintain organization and positive behavior
• Participate in meetings and professional development

Qualifications:
• Committed Christian role model
• Bachelor's degree (ECE preferred) or relevant experience
• Experience with young children (preferred)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Willing to complete DCF training and background screening

Application Requirements:

• Teaching Certificate or CDA (if applicable)
• One professional and one church reference
