Tiny Town Enrichment Center is seeking a passionate, energetic, and motivated Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated team. We are looking for a caring individual who has a love for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young minds in a fun and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm, and energy to the classroom while ensuring the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of our preschool-aged children.
Schedule 8:00am -3:00pm
Responsibilities:
Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster creativity, learning, and exploration.
Cultivate a warm, supportive classroom environment where children feel safe, loved, and respected.
Promote the social and emotional development of children through structured activities, play, and positive reinforcement.
Support and guide children in their self-regulation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to teaching, including working with assistants and parents.
Assess the individual needs and development of each child and provide feedback to parents regularly.
Implement classroom management strategies to maintain an organized, respectful, and productive learning environment.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education practices.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during classroom activities and while transitioning between locations.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any other required documentation.
Qualifications:
Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
Experience working with preschool-aged children (2-5 years old).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Energetic, motivated, and creative with a genuine passion for teaching and fostering young learners.
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and patient in a dynamic classroom setting.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Background check and references required.
