Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare meals

Clean and maintain sanitation standards in kitchen and storage room

Keep records of meals prepared and groceries needed

Calculate servings using menu and food labels

Assist children with developing social and emotional skills

Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques

Communicate with parents and other school personnel

Assist classroom teachers as needed

Sub in the classrooms as needed

Qualifications

Child Development units (18 min)

Trauma informed care trainings or certificate

Special needs trainings or certificate

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Problem-solving and mediation skills
