Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Toddler Teacher in IT2s to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their development, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

Our curriculum of choice is The Creative Curriculum. We utilize Teaching Strategies’ online platform for lesson planning and child assessments. In addition, our center is a 5-Star rated Grow NJ Kids program—the only one in Bergen County—and a designated Pyramid Model Implementation Center.

Responsibilities

Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum

Assist children with developing social and emotional skills

Communicate with parents and other school personnel

Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Create and follow developmnetally appropriate lesson plans that reflect our curriculum

Qualifications

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

String verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
