About the Role:

Redeemed Assembly Jesus Christ in Richmond, VA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool/Toddler Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young children in a supportive environment. Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool and toddler-aged children

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early childhood development

Monitor and document children's developmental milestones and progress

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with childcare regulations

Supervise children during play, meals, and rest times

Incorporate social-emotional learning and values into daily routines

Requirements:

Experience working with toddlers and/or preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting

Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices

CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or early childhood education coursework preferred

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for young children

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and staff

Ability to pass a background check as required by Virginia childcare regulations
