About the Role:

Academy of Excellence Learning Center in Lancaster, CA is looking for a dependable and caring Preschool Transportation Driver to join our team! This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in the safety and daily routine of our youngest learners as you help transport them to and from our center.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport preschool-aged children to and from the learning center on scheduled routes

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure bus or van safety and compliance

Assist children with boarding and exiting the vehicle safely

Maintain accurate attendance and transportation logs for each route

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and center staff regarding pick-up and drop-off

Follow all traffic laws, child passenger safety regulations, and center policies

Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained

Requirements:

Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Must pass a background check and DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance

Experience working with or transporting young children is a plus

Patient, responsible, and attentive demeanor with a strong commitment to child safety

Ability to follow schedules reliably and communicate professionally
