What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Pre-K Support Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where the children in our care can grow, learn, and thrive. You will work closely with lead teachers and other team members to support daily curriculum, classroom activities, routines, and the emotional and developmental needs of each child. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the supervision and care of children in classroom and outdoor settings
Supporting lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, activities and classroom routines that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Provide classroom leadership in the afternoons when the Lead Teacher transitions to the Center Coordinator role, maintaining all of the above.
Helping uphold health, safety, and licensing standards at all times

Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
Encouraging positive behavior, independence, and cooperation among children
Observing and documenting children’s progress to support ongoing assessments
Communicating frequently and professionally with children, families, and teammates
Developing your ability to understand the nuances of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
Attend monthly team meetings and contribute to a positive culture
What We’re Looking For:
You have 2+ years of experience working with preschoolers in professional early childhood settings
You can work until 5:30 or 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
You’re dependable, punctual, professional and committed to your agreed-upon hours
You’re receptive to feedback, professional in conduct in every area, and coachable
You act as a team player in all responsibilities, upkeep, and routines of the indoor and outdoor classrooms
