__Presh Marketing Solutions is looking for a creative Graphic Designer to join our growing digital marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to build and design from the ground up. You'll be working at our downtown office, with the opportunity to work from home when it is applicable. Here at Presh, we provide competitive pay and benefits, a collaborative work environment, and a platform for ongoing education through our best-in-class partnerships.

__As a Graphic Designer, you'll need a wide range of skills. Even picking colors or fonts can be challenging for an inexperienced designer. For this reason, we need a Graphic Designer with an understanding of such things as negative space and color theory, and compositional fundamentals.

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Industry-standard software to create logos, design reports, and complete other projects. You need to have expert efficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
    • The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices.
    • A compelling portfolio with projects showcasing skills that are relevant to the brief you were given.
    • A strong understanding of how to compile assets for websites and landing pages.
    • A strong understanding of how to build out assets for social media campaigns.
    • The ability to create master sheets in Adobe InDesign so that ongoing layout pieces can easily be built, without starting from the beginning every time. Speed is of the essence in this circumstance.
    • Strong understanding of how to manipulate typography to suit the area you working within, whilst staying within the confines of the brand regulations.

    YOUR PERSONALITY:

As the Creative Director at Presh - it is critical that my team are given the freedom to express and challenge themselves creatively. In return for you being given creative freedom, there I some things that I insist on return:

    • Be willing and able to take direction and execute swiftly.
    • Be able to present your rationale with a strong lean towards the business outcome we are solving for.
    • Be able to proof your own work; optimized images, copy errors, color accuracy, compositional fit, and most importantly… be self-critical of every piece of work you do in order to push the envelope to create ‘Great' over ‘Good' deliverables.
    • Have the ability to take feedback effectively and execute changes swiftly and accurately.
    • Be able to work closely with the digital team to provide what they need in a timely manner
    • Understand the basic principles of what it takes to build accompanying assets for Websites, social posts, and videos.

ALL TOO OFTEN DESIGNERS FALL INTO A TRAP OF THE ‘I LIKE IT, THEREFORE IT'S RIGHT' MENTALITY, THE INDIVIDUAL THAT I AM LOOKING FOR, HAS EMPATHY FOR CLIENT PAIN POINTS, CAN THINK ON THEIR FEET CREATIVELY, THEY ARE FLEXIBLE, OPEN TO CHANGES, CAN THINK WITH A BUSINESS OUTCOME MINDSET FIRST, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IS WILLING TO GO THAT EXTRA MILE TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS WITH EVERY PIECE OF WORK THEY PRODUCE'

__Please submit your resume along with a cover letter explaining what makes you the best at what you do - be sure to have a current online portfolio (applicants without a portfolio will not be considered for this role). And here's a heads up - a well-decorated portfolio doesn't necessarily mean the project was a success! Be willing to share the problem you were solving within the work that you present.
