President — Job Description
Company: Peak Beverage Location: Denver, Colorado (with regular travel to Texas operations) Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Status: Full-time, exempt Date posted: May 27, 2026
About Peak Beverage
Peak Beverage is one of the leading beverage catering operations in the western United States, providing full-service bar and beverage programs to venues, weddings, corporate events, and large-scale productions across Colorado and Texas. We operate at the intersection of hospitality, logistics, and one of the most heavily regulated product categories in the country — alcohol — and we are entering a multi-year growth phase focused on expanding our footprint into new markets and scaling the operating platform that supports it.
Role overview
The President is the operating partner to the CEO and founder. Where the CEO drives long-term vision, capital strategy, and external relationships, the President owns the day-to-day operating performance of the company across both states, the company's expansion into new markets, and the regulatory and compliance posture that allows Peak to operate in its category. This is a newly created role designed to scale Peak from a founder-led operator into a multi-market platform without losing the operating discipline that got the company here.
Core responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operating performance across all Peak Beverage operating entities in Colorado and Texas, including P&L accountability tied to enterprise EBITDA and revenue targets.
- Lead expansion to new markets, including market evaluation, entry planning, operating-model alignment, and execution of the company's growth roadmap.
- Build and maintain the company's regulatory and compliance framework across multiple state and local alcohol-licensing regimes (Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, municipal authorities). Serve as the executive accountable to regulators.
- Direct the executive team — COO, VP Sales, CFO, and venue/market General Managers — through Peak's operating cadence (annual plan, quarterly priorities, weekly L10s).
- Partner with the CEO and CFO on capital allocation, debt structuring, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Represent Peak externally with venue partners, large enterprise clients, lenders, and regulatory bodies.
- Build the operating systems, metrics, and management discipline required to support the company's growth plan toward becoming the leading beverage catering company in the country.
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of executive leadership experience , with at least 5 years at the President, COO, or General Manager level of a multi-site operating business.
- Direct experience leading market expansion and operational scale-up , including new-market entry planning, operating-model rollout, and execution against growth targets in a multi-site environment.
- 10+ years of experience operating within a heavily regulated industry (alcohol, gaming, financial services, healthcare, cannabis, or comparable). Direct experience managing relationships with state-level regulatory authorities is required.
- Demonstrated P &L ownership at an enterprise level, with experience scaling a business from founder-led operation to a multi-site, multi-state platform.
- Hospitality, events, or service-industry operating experience strongly preferred. Direct beverage catering, venue operations, or food-and-beverage industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Willingness to relocate to or already be based in the Denver metro area. Ability to travel regularly to Texas operations.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience in a public-sector or municipal executive role, particularly in roles requiring management of regulated activities or licensed operations.
- Experience operating within an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework.
- Existing professional network in the Colorado business community, including familiarity with the Denver leadership ecosystem.
- Experience with management incentive plans, equity structuring, and executive compensation design.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: $200,000 – $300,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Performance-based bonus tied to enterprise EBITDA and revenue performance.
- Equity participation through Peak Beverage's Management Stock Incentive Plan (MSIP), with specific allocation, vesting, and performance terms to be negotiated as part of the offer.
- Benefits: Health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k) participation, paid time off, paid holidays, and other standard employment benefits.
