The Network’s Mission
The Network’s mission is to defeat human trafficking networks. In the near-term we are focused on eradicating trafficking in the illicit massage industry with a target date of 2030. Our multidisciplinary team leverages skills honed in the Intelligence Community, data analytics, and victim service provision. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in northern Virginia and accomplish our mission through enabling law enforcement, prosecutors and corporate partners across the United States. We provide our partners with data, intelligence, and tactics to measurably reduce prevalence of trafficking in illicit massage businesses (IMBs). Our unique solution attacks the business model, because trafficking exists for only one reason: it makes money.
We are seeking a President that will drive execution of our program functions and promote cross-functional collaboration to develop innovative tactics and strategies to defeat the illicit massage industry. The President will oversee the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) which consists of Partnerships, Technology, Marketing/Comms and Operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, the President will help lead the strategic planning process for the organization, ensure integration and execution across functional areas, and collaborate closely with the Director of Development and CFO to align fundraising and financial strategies with organizational goals.

The Team
The SLT comprises four departments. Together, these teams are responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, and growing strategies and tactics to combat the illicit massage industry.
1. Partnerships
The Partnerships Team builds and maintains strategic partnerships with District Attorneys, state Attorneys General, and other key stakeholders to implement tactics/products on the ground. The Partnerships Team fosters these relationships to advance The Network’s mission and amplify impact through collaborative efforts.
2. Technology
The Technology Team produces the core asset of our organization - our data. It develops and deploys tools to collect, analyze, and deliver data and evidence related to illicit massage businesses to our partners. They drive technological innovation to enhance operational effectiveness in combating human trafficking.
3. Marketing/Comms
The Marketing/Comms Team develops compelling communications/PR to engage partners, donors and the public in The Network’s mission. It learns from our customers to improve/optimize existing tactics and to identify new tactics.
4. Operations
The President will oversee HR and other operational elements that the organization will need. The President will be responsible for evaluating these needs and building the team required for managing these important areas for the organization.
Development and Finance functions will report directly to the CEO alongside the President. The President will need to collaborate and coordinate closely and effectively with these teams to promote alignment across the organization.

The Ideal Candidate – Professional Experience
Senior Leadership. Brings at least 10 years of senior leadership experience, with proven success at the executive level in a mission-driven organization.
Program and Operational Management. Has led core programmatic and operational areas, with experience managing budgets, resources, and financial planning in partnership with CFOs or finance teams.
Technology Integration. Has overseen implementation of large technical projects and programs.
Team Leadership and Development. Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Advocacy and External Relations. Skilled in representing organizations to public and private stakeholders, including government, media, funders, and coalitions.

We are looking to fill this position no later than 3 September 2025.
