As a Press Brake Operator , you will use press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications. Your role is critical in production and requires technical skill, accuracy, and a strong focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and specifications
- Set up and operate 25- and 60-ton presses
- Blank, bend, punch, and form small intricate parts
- Monitor quality and inspect finished products
- Perform routine maintenance and follow safety standards
- Operate secondary machines (tappers, mills, drills) when needed
- Assist with material handling and occasional deliveries
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with press brake operation preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to handle materials and operate equipment
- Prior machine operator experience may be considered
