PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates CNC Press Brake and tools in an efficient, proper and safe manner.
- Ensures safe handling when loading raw materials and moving finished products.
- Interprets blueprints, job orders, and work instructions accurately.
- Use measuring devices like calipers, micrometers and tape measures to verify quality and dimensions.
- Produces high quality parts with minimum supervision and within specified tolerances; selects and uses the proper measuring devices/tools for specified gauging.
- Helps with preparing machines and changing tooling as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma (or G.E.D. equivalency) is required; some vocational/technical training is desirable.
- Computer experience/programming experience in similar type production machines is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferred.
- Works well without undue supervision; accepts supervision, including the change in scope of work, positively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the shift, as the position often requires remaining on one’s feet.
- Should be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs during routine job tasks.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment where noise and the presence of machinery are common.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am to 4pm
Pay is depending on experience
