    Position Summary - Press Brake Operator

    We’re seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to independently plan, set up, troubleshoot, and operate press brake equipment to produce quality parts. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Amada machinery and a strong understanding of metal forming processes.

    Key Responsibilities - Press Brake Operator

    • Set up and operate press brake machines (e.g., Amada HDS1303, HDS 8025, HG1003 with ATC, RG35) in a sheet metal manufacturing environment. 

    • Select and inspect appropriate materials and tooling; perform tooling maintenance when needed as a machine operator.

    • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring all specifications and tolerances are met.

    • Load and verify machine programs, and perform initial part inspections.

    • Accurately record dimensions and part features using measuring tools (calipers, pin gauges, micrometers).

    • Complete all required documentation, including router sheets and inspection logs.

    • Provide guidance or training to new team members as needed.

    Qualifications & Skills - Press Brake Operator

    • High school diploma or GED (required).

    • Press brake setup and operation experience.

    • Familiarity with tool selection, bend deduction, and brake setup processes.

    • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and written instructions.

    • Capable of performing basic math and conversions (fractions, decimals, metric/imperial).

    • Attention to detail, safety-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision.

    Preferred Experience - Press Brake Operator

    • Hands-on knowledge of Amada press brakes and ATC systems.

    • Experience with production documentation, first-piece inspection, and quality checks.
