Press Brake Operator
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Salary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience

With a team of 50 dedicated employees, we are expanding our production capacity to meet increased customer demand. Our facility focuses on high-precision, low-volume components that require expert craftsmanship.
Press Brake Operator Role:
This role is responsible for the setup and operation of CNC press brakes to produce precision-bent metal parts. The operator ensures all components meet strict quality standards and engineering specifications to support the downstream assembly process.
Press Brake Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC press brakes to produce parts according to blueprints
- Select, change, and align tooling based on material thickness and bend requirements
- Perform first-piece inspections using calipers, protractors, and height gauges
- Adjust machine settings and programming to maintain part tolerances
- Load and unload heavy metal sheets onto the machine bed
- Document production counts and quality checks in the ERP system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to safety standards
- Collaborate with the shop foreman to optimize production schedules
Press Brake Operator Reporting Relationships:
The Press Brake Operator reports directly to the Shop Foreman and has no direct reports.
About You:
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC press brakes
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret complex industrial blueprints
- Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers and calipers accurately
- Understand bend allowances and material spring-back characteristics
- Lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift
- Display a strong commitment to workshop safety and PPE compliance
- Work effectively in a fast-paced job shop environment
