About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to form and bend sheet metal components to precise specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with press brake machines and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines safely and efficiently
• Perform bending and forming operations according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Select, install, and adjust tooling (dies, punches) as required
• Load and unload sheet metal materials
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
• Make basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part consistency
• Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Identify machine, material, or quality issues and report them to supervisors
• Assist with general fabrication or production tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating press brake equipment required
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication preferred
• CNC press brake experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Proficiency using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment
