    Job Description

    The primary responsibility of this position is to transcribe written comments from an electronic image or audio file using Press Ganey proprietary software while being located off site (at home) using self-provided Internet connection and company provided computer hardware.

    Even though this position will be mostly remote we are currently looking for someone locally in South Bend, IN or the surroundings.

    • Read questionnaires to determine type of comment.
    • Inputs written comments from surveys into software according to established guidelines.
    • Maintain acceptable comment processing performance standards.
    • Maintain acceptable accuracy according to established guidelines (99.5%)
    • Maintain acceptable speed according to established guidelines (55 words per minute).
    • Performs other duties as may be appropriately required.
    • Transcribe audio recordings accurately and efficiently. Adapt to various accents, speech patterns, and audio quality to produce accurate transcriptions.

    Qualifications

    • Previous typing or data entry computer skills required.
    • Typing speed of 55 words per minute is required.
    • Must be able to read and interpret typed and/or handwritten text.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Candidate must have high attention to detail.

    Experience

    0-2 years of experience.

    Education

    High school graduate or equivalent required

    The expected base salary for this position is $14.00 per hour. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
