This key role assures the effective completion and documentation of Quality Assurance responsibilities. Key Areas of Responsibility * Ensure plant compliance to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and HACCP * Assist the QA Manager with leading the Quality Initiatives * Communicate new quality programs as needed and facilitate or support the training of plant personnel * Performs quality checks on all product lines, including incoming produce and finished goods * Basic understanding of production schedule and recipes * Maintain the facility from a sanitation and housekeeping standpoint, including cleaning, sanitizing and storage of equipment and tools * Ensure food safety by following all regulations implemented by Pressed Juicery QA * Other job-related duties as requested Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent * Have completed a minimum of 2 years of related course work in Food Science, Chemistry or Biology * Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to work independently and in a self-disciplined manner to complete assignments in a timely manner
