    Prestige Dental Centers is a full-service dental practice dedicated to delivering outstanding care to the residents of Pueblo and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Under the leadership of Sterling Rogers, DDS, and Michael Bull, DDS, the practice is thriving. We are looking for a full-time hygiene assistant to join our dental family, this position is Monday-Thursday with no late nights or weekends. Responsibilities: • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments • Take x-rays • Provide assistance to the dentist during exams • Accurately treatment plan based on doctor's diagnosis • Correctly and efficiently schedule patients for follow-up visits • Assist hygienist whenever needed • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records • Perform dental charting and coding • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols Qualifications: • Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Open Dental, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft • Knowledge of medical documentation and medical records management • Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and procedures • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team • Understanding of infection control protocols and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Compensation: $19 - $21 hourly
