SHIPPING PACKER POSITION AT PRESTIGE STAMPING IN WARREN MICHIGAN

EARN $32,000 - $40,000 PER YEAR PLUS BONUS INCENTIVE OF $750+ PER QUARTER. Shift premium of $1.00/hour for the AFTERNOON shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) & MIDNIGHT shift (11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Visually inspect the parts in the hopper. Notify the leader of any defects or contamination.

• Weigh count the good parts on the scale as they are being placed into shipping cartons; seal the cartons with the taping machine . Put bar-code labels on each carton.

• Place the sealed cartons on the available pallet and wrap the completed pallet.

• Direct the forklift driver to place the wrapped pallet into its proper stock location.

• Operate the forklift truck, if qualified, as needed to "feed" the tumbler, packaging lines, storage racks, etc.

• Sort parts when necessary while packaging.

• Keep machinery, equipment, and surrounding area in a clean condition.

• Learn how to operate the tumbler.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Be 18+ years old

• Must have high school diploma

• Must have math skills

• Must have reading skills

• Must have legible penmanship

• Must have basic computer skills

• Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays
