Prestonwood Country Club, a premier private establishment located in beautiful Cary, NC is in search of a full-time Banquet Manager to lead in our F&B Department. Our Banquet Manager is responsible for managing all banquets and events at the Club, and the overall operation of our Banquet Department. This position reports to the Director of Food & Beverage and is a Department Head role. The successful candidate will work closely with the Food & Beverage management team to ensure members and their guests receive the highest level of food quality and service. They also oversee the team's development and are responsible for developing an annual budget and working with the Banquet Chef to build menu and presentation concepts. The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum three years of Banquet Management experience and a genuine passion for servant leadership.

Ability to efficiently plan, organize, and lead the employees in the banquet operations department while ensuring member/guest satisfaction.

Experience managing and developing the group event coordination of weddings and banquets.

Experience working with temporary staffing agencies.

Strong organization, communication/interpersonal skills.

An open/flexible schedule including working weekends, as well as reliable transportation.

Have a positive attitude, and foster an environment of teamwork and company culture.

Ability to operate independently and with a high degree of autonomy requiring excellent time management skills and self- motivation

The rate of pay offered will be commensurate with the level of experience and education.
