The Swim Lesson Instructor will lead private, semi-private, and group swim lessons to all ages and skill levels using American Red Cross Guidelines. The Swim Lesson Instructor will be responsible for creating a fun, learning environment to ensure a positive member experience. All lessons will be assigned by the Aquatics Manager. This is a seasonal position from May 21 – Sept 5, 2022.RESPONSIBILITIES

Be prepared to connect with students using fun and creative methods.

Ensure an educational, safe and inviting experience for all participants.

After lesson, communicate with students/parents regarding skill development.

Be knowledgeable about Prestonwood Aquatics programs and products.

Enforce pool/club policies.

Licenses/Certifications

CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire

Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid preferred

Swim Lesson instruction or coaching experience preferred

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:The Swim Lesson Instructor should have a current Water Safety Instructor Certificate and/or at least 2 seasons of swim team or teaching experience. He/she should communicate, demonstrate, and supervise safety requirements during the teaching of lessons.
