  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    The IT Technician is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software within the Bank’s nine offices. The IT Technician will also be the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing computer issues. As a computer technician, you must be well versed in computer systems and network functions.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems

    Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support

    Organize and maintain IT resources

    Participate in special projects or assignments as necessary.

    Follow procedures and policies that ensure compliance with not only Bank policies and procedures, but also all applicable federal and state banking regulatory agency policies.

    Comply with bank standards for attendance and hours of work.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    1 Year of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major

    Strong verbal and written communication

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    Ability to work well in teams

    Strong work ethic and attention to detail

    Must understand the role of sales and customer service in a community bank environment. Must be able to discover customer needs and be able to obtain new customer accounts.

    An overall understanding of bank products. This includes online, mobile, and electronic delivery products.

    Understands the importance of electronic delivery. Fully understands, utilizes, encourages and sells these products.

    Time Management:

    Ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines. The ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks.

    Team Player:

    Must view oneself as part of an overall team. This includes supporting others throughout the entire bank to achieve the overall goals of the bank.

    Travel:
