a growing construction and project management firm with a strong pipeline of public works projects, is seeking a Prevailing Wage Compliance Administrator to join their team. This role plays a key part in ensuring payroll compliance across multiple projects, partnering with internal teams and subcontractors to maintain accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to labor regulations.
What You'll Do as the Prevailing Wage Compliance Administrator:
- Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage laws
- Verify employee classifications, wage determinations, and fringe benefit allocations
- Maintain organized and audit-ready compliance documentation across active projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors to collect, review, and track certified payroll submissions
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and resolve discrepancies or missing reports
- Utilize compliance platforms such as LCPtracker, eMars, or similar systems
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and timely responses
- Collaborate with project managers and accounting teams to ensure payroll and compliance alignment
- Track and report compliance status across multiple concurrent projects
- Stay up to date on evolving labor laws and regulatory requirements
Must-Haves as the Prevailing Wage Compliance Administrator:
- 2+ years of experience in certified payroll and/or prevailing wage compliance
- Working knowledge of Davis-Bacon and/or state-specific prevailing wage laws
- Experience within construction, public works, or government-funded projects
- Proficiency in Excel and payroll/compliance systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and subcontractors
Nice-to-Haves as the Prevailing Wage Compliance Administrator:
- Experience supporting compliance across multiple active projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with union reporting or additional labor compliance requirements
- Background in accounting, payroll, or HR within the construction industry
- Experience with systems such as Points North or similar tools
