    The Customer Engagement Representative (CER) will be essential to growing our current customer relationships and qualifying expansion opportunities through the sales pipeline to the Customer Success team. The primary function of this role is to manage various business development initiatives within the existing customer base. The CER will coordinate engagement outreach via phone, email and webinars and will qualify inbound leads from within our customer base through cross-sell, international, and additional growth opportunities. Customer Engagement is the engine that fuels the expansion Sales Pipeline and keeps our customer base growing at a rapid pace.

As a Customer Engagement Representative, you'll have the chance to help us increase our market share and expand our existing client base.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Partner with Customer Success Managers to develop existing customer relationships and identify upgrade and expansion potential
    • Develop outreach strategies and coordinate the distribution of sales collateral (campaigns, cadences, etc.) for expansion within current customer base
    • Create tailored customer engagement outreach based on customer health and marketing engagement indicators
    • Drive customer expansion through cross-sell, international, and brand expansion by understanding and articulating the company's value proposition, competitive landscape, and customer needs
    • Pre-qualify customers by evaluating engagement metrics and advance them through a multistage, consultative sales process in partnership with a Customer Success Manager or an Account Executive
    • Become a subject matter expert in e-Commerce and across our product suite
    • Drive upsell opportunities through webinars and customer engagement activities

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in relevant field of study
    • 0-3 years of previous business development, sales or marketing experience, SAAS sales or marketing a plus
    • Strong working knowledge of software
    • Excellent communication and eloquent writing skills
    • Experience with Salesforce
    • Experience with SalesLoft, HubSpot, Terminus or like software is a plus
    • Strong intellectual capabilities, self-direction, and strong drive to develop sales
    • Strong persuasive skills and technical aptitude
    • Desire to grow and advance professionally

     

     

    LOCATION: 

    We are hiring for this position remotely in the US, with opportunity to work from our Irvine or Columbus office location.
