PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Pride Resource Partners (PRPLLC) is currently seeking an PROCUREMENT MANAGER to join our team as a full-time employee in LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead contract negotiations
• Resolve highly complex problems involving high risk or high monetary cost to Company, and or involving supplier relationships
• Make decisions related to purchasing and formulate recommendations on highly technical and complex issues
• Implement procedures and processes for procurement (and if necessary, updating such procedures and processes), while adhering to Company’s procurement policies
• Review and approve contracts and purchase orders on all major purchases
• Meet with suppliers and Company to resolve issues, as relevant
• Manage project procurement budgets and report on these budgets to Company frequently
• Consult with appropriate Legal resources, as necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree required
• Master degree desired
• 10+ years of directly relevant experience
• Professional certification is desired

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Pipeline, Gas Facilities experience is a plus.
• Experience on engineering, procurement, and construction projects desirable.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations.
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Time management and organizational skills.
