PrideStaff Financial is partnering with a global luxurious hotels and resorts company to look for a Tax Accountant to join their team in Dallas (75219). This is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days REMOTE after 3 months of training onsite. Pay: $70-80K The position will be responsible predominantly for Sales and Use Tax, resales certificates, and some licenses. Brief responsibilities: * Prepare related filing for sales and use, gross receipts, and business tax for various facilities * Support Sales and use tax compliance, and monthly journal entries * Review PCard Transactions and Corporate Invoices for Sales Tax * Assist with the unclaimed property and escheatment process, to ensure compliance and research significant items * Work with audits * Assist with the unclaimed property and escheatment process, to ensure compliance and research significant items Qualifications: * BS in Accounting * Indirect tax experience * Candidate should have 1-3 years working experience in accounting or tax-related field * Proficiency in Excel * Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as a team member * Must possess good analytical, organizational, and technical skills, and be self-started * Flexibility and positive attitude in a dynamic work environment * Excellent time management skills * Ability to work with cross functional teams * Good communication skills and professional presence PrideStaff (North Dallas location) is a locally-owned staffing & placement firm with a strong reputation as a fun-loving, quality-focused service provider.
