    ADVERTISING COORDINATOR

    $23.00 PER HOUR, REMOTE WORK UNTIL JAN 2022, EFFECTIVE JAN 10 RETURN TO OFFICE (HYBRID). WORK LOCATION, ALEXANDRIA, VA.

    Our Advertising Coordinator works with companies that provide goods and services to our Association's constituents.

    The Advertising Coordinator is responsible for all advertising fulfillment, both print and digital, as well as providing high level customer service to industry suppliers, associate members, advertisers, corporate partners, sponsors, and exhibitors.

    The Advertising Coordinator serves as central contact for all association advertisers, and liaison on supplier registrations at our Association events.

    The Advertising Coordinator will also lead the marketing efforts of the department, organizing and assisting in development. This position also supports and assists with exhibitor registration, associate membership, and other general industry supplier needs. In addition, this function oversees and manages prospecting database, keeping it up to date with information regarding industry suppliers.

     

    ADVERTISING COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS:

    One year experience in sales and marketing and high-level customer service experience preferred.

    Requires excellent written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.

    Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and team-oriented, as well as capable of interacting with high profile corporate executives.

    Must have excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel; Fonteva/Salesforce experience preferred.

     

    ADVERTISING COORDINATOR PRINCIPAL DUTIES

    ADVERTISING AND SUPPORT (50% OF DAY IN LIFE)

    • Main point of contact for advertising fulfillment of all print and digital advertising, including; Print, Digital, Website.
    • Serves as the central point of contact for the data entry, record keeping, billing, scheduling, and transmittal of all advertising materials delivered to clients, printers, designers, and internal staff
    • Responsible for documenting sales process, identifying success strategies, and tracking budget goals
    • Assists with the development of additional advertising vehicles using existing association collateral and products, or new association initiatives
    • Delivers superior customer service to advertisers, exhibitors, sponsors, and corporate partners

    ADVERTISING AND SUPPORT (40% OF DAY IN LIFE)

    • Drafts correspondence and makes copy updates to marketing, promotion, and supporting documents to produce excellent advertising communication products; ensures that copy complies with Assocaition style
    • Organizes department marketing campaigns to support supplier relations sales
    • Manages development of annual Marketing Prospectus (print and online) and other promotional collateral throughout the year
    • Manages and maintains the Association webpage; including listings, and advertising.
    • Implements advertising mass mailings (postal or digital) including copying materials, assembling mailings, and affixing postage
    • Conducts prospect research and drafts proposals

    EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION (10% OF DAY IN LIFE)

    • Serves as backup assistance for Trade Show exhibitor registrations
    • Assists to ensure accurate fulfillment of event badge allocations for exhibitors, sponsors, and corporate partners;

    Computer Skills Required; MS Suite proficiency

    Computer Skills preferred; Fonteva, SalesForce proficiency

    Education; Marketing degree preferred, or relevant work experience
