ACCOUNTING CLERK

SHIFT/HOURS: (FT) Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm OR (PT) Variable shift

PAY RATE: Up to $21/hr DOE

LOCATION: Houston, TX 77338

EXPERIENCE: 1 year of Freight Forwarding

ACCOUNTING CLERK JOB RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

• Process Accounts Payable
• Initiate check run process
• Match invoices to purchase orders
• Work in a team environment
• Provide financial, administrative and clerical services
• Process and monitor payments
• Prepare and monitor the AR system
• Perform reconciliations and provide resolution on accounts with disputed balances
• Set up new accounts
• Computer Skills, including the ability to operate computerized accounting programs, MS
• Office Products, & Email

ACCOUNTING CLERK  REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working in Freight Forwarding Company REQUIRED
• Experience with IES software REQUIRED
